At lbdesign, we’re very lucky to get to work with a number of artists and creatives. One of our long-time — and favourite — such clients is Re-silicone. Re-silicone focuses on the design and production of bespoke eco-conscious products and installations made from re-used rubber silicone.

Having relocated to Glasgow after five years in London, Re-silicone recently completed an exciting commission for CraftScotland: four bright orange hanging baskets displayed for the duration of Unite outside the Collins Gallery, Glasgow.

Always busy with some project, Re-silicone is currently putting the finishing touches on an installation for a touring exhibition called Art+Play, which is a collection of interactive art works aimed at 0-5 year olds. It is part of a project working with nursery staff and children in North Lincolnshire to develop a series of tactile wall panels using orange rubber off-cuts.
