To mark the Rwandan genocide of 1994, Hope Survivors Foundation has organised a commemoration event to remember the tragedy and to support the survivors.
The commemoration will feature Jean Paul Samputu, a Rwandan artist who survived the genocide and has established himself as one of the most prominent African artists on the world stage. He is one of only two African artists to perform for the World Culture Open at the Lincoln Center in New York. Jean Paul Samputu will share with us his experience through testimony and music.
This year commemoration will feature special talks and testimonies from Holocaust survivors, 7/7 London bombings survivors, poems, film and music.
Date: Saturday, 9th April 2011

Place: The London Oratory School, Seagrave Road, London SW6 1RX
