John Gwinn’s Flashing Exuberance

Back in the late spring (or was it early summer?), we were fortunate to meet a Philadelphia-based artist named John Gwinn.  We met John at Franklin Commons, an amazing, privately-owned, multi-use commercial property that really must be seen to be believed.  (We’ll be sure to post something about Franklin Commons before too long.)

With a career spanning more than 50 years, John is a very creative and skilled painter.  Over the years, John’s work has ranged from realism to abstract. Following his immersion in abstract art, John felt himself pulled towards something he calls ‘Flashing Exuberance’. To John, Flashing Exuberance is that magical place where the clearly defined lines of realism meet the randomness of the abstract.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working with John on the design and production on new business cards, a new website and additional printed promotional materials. We certainly recommend checking out his art work. We love it and we’re sure you will see something that grabs to you!
